IMO this is more of TT having buyer’s remorse on extending the BBall equivalent of Bill Stewart combined with Beard being available again with no charges tied to him. Blowing up ticky tack stuff they previously swept under the rug in an effort to get out of a buyout.

While it was nice that this team rallied to get on the right side of the bubble, a nosedive and bringing in Beard would have been the better chain of events
