Highly sought after QB coach hired

I think Pat White would have been a more intriguing prospect as QB coach for Rich Rods offense. Plus I think he could really sell the program to recruits. But as proven, I don’t get to make decisions for the athletic department lol

I doubt Campbell University is offering a bigger pay day. But I could see Pat weighing the presence of RR's shadow with regards to advantages and disadvantages of his ambitions to move up the coaching ranks. Without a doubt it makes sense for WVU to at least offer Pat White though if you are going to make a nepotism hire like Rhett.

They could hire both. There is no limit on the number of coaches.

Sometimes a great player is not a great coach, and it works in the inverse. Sometimes and average player becomes a great coach. We will just need to see what happens I guess.
