He's one of the few assistants that would have a chance. But he may get some really big offers.
I wouldn't mind this being true but there are other people who claim insiders are saying other things.

I don't know what the others are saying, but you don't fire a coach without first having his replacement lined up.
You think we're more likely to grab a tier II head coach (liberty, SDSU, etc...) then a big4 OC?
Something special could mean RR to Pat mcafee. Hopefully not and it means Saban. Lol
I would imagine it's Rich that he's referring to and it's highly unlikely.
Glenn Schumann the defensive coordinator at UGA. He's very highly regarded. He's been with Sabin and Kirby so everyone expects a lot from him in the future. He's a young guy.
I live in Atlanta. He isn't highly regarded here. I know of him and he isn't close to what Dan Lanning was in Athens. Especially with recruiting.

Alabama fans wanted to fire Saban about eight times when he was there. 😂
That's not what he's saying. The fans loved Lanning, as he was a great coach and an animal on the recruiting trail.
The biggest concerns is his lack of recruiting as WVUBRU said earlier. Also some don't like his scheme (not aggressive, bend but don't break style).
I personally like him a lot, however have heard UNC is the hot name for him.
