Do you expect to hear anything on the bowl game after the meeting today or do you think they'll just inform bowls if they are in or out? I know bowls aren't announced until next week but if we can field a team I'd like to do it. It gives a new coach (assuming one in place when practice starts) some time to observe practice, etc and gives the kids a jump on spring ball. If we are going to improve next year, we need all the practice we can get. How we do in the bowl is secondary, it's the end of a lost season, but hopefully the start of a resurgence. Also, who know, the new coach might like how an assistant or two runs practice and could decide to keep one or two on, lowering the buyout figure. Outside of WV and NC, does anyone remember last year's bowl we played in and who won? Getting curb stomped isn't a concern, it'll be quickly forgotten with the new guys success.
