Alright have been able to speak to some sources to gather what unfolded here.
Brooklyn (N.Y.) Canarsie running back Lamy Constant had been committed to West Virginia for several weeks but the decision to back off here was on the Mountaineers end. The coaching staff has not had a lot of contact with him of late and the coaches decided to go in a different direction. Expect them to go full steam ahead for Jones J.C. running back La'Damian Webb after the early signing period since he is a May graduate and the plan is to try to get Tim Baldwin on campus this weekend. But from an excellent source I can confirm this was a West Virginia decision.
