No one wants to be part of the college sports mess. Blaine loved coaching in the NFL and he's told several people he wanted to get back. I hate losing him but I think it's time to make a very good hire for his replacement.
Who would that hire be?
College game is a mess.

I'm sure it will be a young guy. But there are so many out there now that are just analysts that you could look at. My guess is it will be someone Rich knows. Most coaches would go with a minority hire, especially at that position.
Does it hurt us on keeping some of the 2025 class? I wonder how many of the 2025 class (early enrollees) will portal this spring.

The most frustrating part of watching an away game is all the different, sometime useless streaming channels carry them. I know and appreciate that the board keeps us notified well where they will be broadcast. But still frustrating, the announcers, some of them are awful. That's when I listen to Tony while the game is on, although sometimes they are on a 7 second delay and you hear the play before it happens .
The media set up is as screwy as the sports themselves are a mess.

Can we go with another guy Bicknell knows and reunite the 2022 UNC offensive staff?

Clemson analyst - Lonnie Galloway or WV native John Lilly?

Duh I know that. I guess the extra week of regular season games pushed their hiring window back. Always thought they get most of it wrapped up in Jan/Feb
Both the NFL and CFB seasons are longer so things will start to leak into March. It may go even further with guys trying to get out of CFB and into the NFL more than ever.

Hadn't his role here been diminished since RR got here, as well?

Do we even need to make another hire?
