Two people are dead and three are injured after a gunman opened fire at a celebration of life event in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday and found five people had been shot, the Saint Paul Police Department said hours after the shooting.
"One adult male was pronounced dead by Saint Paul Fire medics and another adult male was pronounced dead at United Hospital after arriving in a private vehicle," law enforcement said.
Preliminary information indicates that the shooting occurred after the celebration of life event in the parking lot, officials said. Investigators believe the shooting was not random.
One adult male is in critical condition and two adult females were also injured from gunshot wounds.
