That is your opinion, and you are entitled to it. However, there is a way to get rid of your joke -- leave the USA and find a better country to go to providing they will let you in.
Agree 100% w/ you. And the country itself is obviously not a joke. There are plenty of issues that need to be addressed...neither the right, middle or left are perfect or all the blame. But we are not the only country having issues. There is a big generational shift going on everywhere. Its not limited to our country. Its more than bit too much "get off my lawn" to simply say the country is a joke.
I think it's fair then to say Leftists in this country are a joke. Look at the ones like YOU who post on this forum?

Was this a trial against white cops only or the police in general? Your comment is the pure definition of racism.
This trial was not suppose to be about black or white but about one man supposedly using excessive force with his knee on a suspect that may or may not have caused his death.
It was bad police work no question. It was also a bad decision on Mr. Floyd's part to both resist being lawfully arrested, and unlawfully O.D. ing on a dangerous substance which probably killed him anyway.
Add those two equations together and they do NOT spell racism.

Considering the current state of leadership in DC is constantly trying to change our way of life for the last 200+ years and blatantly disrespect the constitution and our founding principles, I’d say he’s right and the US has become a joke. Maybe THEY should move instead.

It was bad police work no doubt. However if you watch the entire video, Floyd clearly starts to "resist" arrest well before he's cuffed, and even afterward refusing to get into the squad car. The cops still had no point doing the "knee to the neck"....as I said that was just poor police tactics. Floyd however is no Saint and no Martyr. No one discusses how he fought with and disobeyed lawful commands from the arresting Officers to "get into the car" after being placed under arrest. If he had done that, he might still be alive in jail today, although he might be tired of being someone's new "boy toy".
I'm not putting Floyd up for sainthood. He wasn't in the right either, but Chauvin crossed a line. I think the jury decision backs that stance up. I'm curious what happens with the other officers. I can see a crowd control concern defense for them working to some degree. I think that's where their focus was, at least for the most part.
Oh no argument with you the cops screwed up...it was bad police procedures all the way around. Still it wasn't racially motivated as the media is blaring, and no one is calling out Floyd for his misbehavior with the cops. He's being Lionized as some sort of Social hero.

I never realized that Chauvin is only 5’9” that kind of shocked me. He’s basically a midget. He always seemed taller than that on the kneeling video. Anyway he should have only been convicted of manslaughter.
I've mentioned before on this forum I have a son-in-law who's in Law enforcement. He can't believe no other Officers stepped in to get Chauvin off Floyd's neck or why three or four of those cops couldn't find a better way to get his uncooperative ass into that squad car?
He's disgusted by the whole thing...for the Cops, for the community, for Floyd, his Family....the whole sordid affair just hacks him off because he says proper training and techniques would have avoided the entire scenario! I'm trying to convince him to get out of Law enforcement because it's become so dangerous now-a-days...but he tells me "Dad if all the good Cops leave, then only bad cops like Chauvin will be left to protect us"

It’ll be ok man, the bad man is gone. In all serious, I’ve had a lot of friends with PTSD, even had it a little myself if I’m being transparent, it can be tough. Just know there are people who love and depend on you and everyday is better than the last.

No Dave, I did'nt; I've spent all of my 80 years as an American Citizen 30 years of which were spent in in service to my country. I know "She", The USA has her faults, but she is the best thing going, and has been for the past 250 years. Thus my reply to Tarheel.

There is really two types of leftist. There are the followers who have been brain washed in school ect and are not smart enough to escape that line of thinking (just think of the liberals on this board) their mind has been closed to facts and it is like trying to have a discussion with a rock. Which is why it so easy to make a lie stick with them, they are like the borg. Then there are the leaders-they are full fledge marxist globalist. They want a one world government controlled by them because they are driven for power. There has really been only one country who has stood in their way the last 50 years and that is America. So therefor American must be either transformed or destroyed. They don't want it destroyed right now because they need the American military to enforce their desires-hence the war in the middle east. So they must change the very fabric of American society. But in reality they see Christian Western Civilization (especially the middle class) as the force that must be destroyed because they have found they can't force them to change. Long story but this goes back to the German revolution in the 1840s and the failure to get the middle class to fight on their side. Read about the Frankfurt school and the plan they came up after the failed revolution.
