…will eventually, imo, become mandatory in college regular season games. The NFL just made it optional for players (although I doubt many wear them…not cool looking and all).
They’ll absolutely become a thing in little league, junior/senior high schools. …so they’ll be more accepted in time.
Like to see a leather type cover (talk about going back to an old school look) that teams logo and such could be put on, but fans will get use to it too. …except it makes big players look like little league guys (big head/little body).
