Greenbrier is a mess

It just appears that Justice has figured out he can't make money running it and is letting the debt pile up before he files Chapter 11 or 7.

It has to be profitable. It cost $1000 to do anything over there.

I was talking about the greenbrier? You started this with your dumb pussy deplorable comment. She still got cha butthurt over that after like 10 years lmao.

I get it, you are voting for the Democrat Candidate and want to trash the current Republican Governor running for Senate while pretending to talk about the Greenbrier. Hence why I posted the Off Topic Thread. All while ignoring the reasons he would be having financial troubles under this Administration and Covid-19.

The thread was going off the rails before I even entered it. Same thing with the other thread started on the same subject over a week ago.

Football season starting in a little over a week. Too bad there's not more information on that.

Yeah because I started the thread. Shew.

He better act quickly because by this time next week some hotel chain will be walking off the courthouse steps with the deed.

You would think, but I remember when the CSX reps were elated to get out of that investment. The upkeep is unbelievable.
Yes CSX was losing money on it big time... the Casino was supposed to be the lure to fix that. One of our insiders has noted the basically have been using the Casino money to pay down what they can so that suggests it is probably the only profitable part....

The exorbitant amount on waste on food stuffs can't help either.

Tripling down on your narrative while insulting everyone's intelligence. Probably not the direction I would have went. Hence why I invited people to come read an alternative view on the Off Topic Board.

More information about the upcoming game against Penn State is what most of us would like to read on the Blue Lot.

Same attempt last time on the Blue Lot.

Alternative view on Off Topic Board.

If I had to guess, I think a deal will be made between justice and another entity to avoid that embarrassment.

Another possible route would be for that other entity to purchase it on the cheap on the courthouse steps and then make an arrangement to get it back in justice’s hands. There are definitely a lot of ways for him to work this deal.

Wouldn’t surprise me if some of his Marshall friends like Brad Smith and Marshall Reynolds would be involved in someway shape or form.

My guess is either the Saudis , a larger hotel chain, or Maggie Hardy ends up buying it.

Imagine deducting money from your employees paychecks for health insurance and then pocketing that money instead of paying their premiums. What a shit bag

Have to add. Justice is an embarrassment. And I am not a dem. Sucks that fat piece of shit is the face of our state. I hate all politicians, all sides. They aren’t people to idolize or look up to.

To be more on topic, I hope the greenbrier goes into good hands. It’s an important place for the state.

Would be devastating for Greenbrier County if it were to shutter for a year or two.

If you spent half as much time looking for a job as you do posting this crap, perhaps you wouldn’t have to spend half your day posting how poor you are. Just a thought.

I'm a retired Veteran who spent decades tearing my body up, not that is any off your buisness nor does it have anything to do with the current Administrations Economy that's hurting everyone including those that are better off than others. I'm not poor goofball. Like most Americans I don't have the extra cash under this Administration I had before for hobbies.

Maybe if you spent less time worrying about me you would understand what's going on outside your mom's basement.

That would be great if Maggie Hardy would purchase that place as she has the funds and knows how to run a business. She could really do a facelift to that place and make it a great place to visit again.

Can he even file an injunction to stop the auction at this point? I read the details of the loan and justice agreed to not sue in it and signed it. There is a no lawsuit clause. I wonder if there is anyway he could talk the McCormick collection agency into not having the fire sale so they don’t give it away for Pennie’s on the dollar and give him some time to try and sell it to like an Omni or Marriott or something? They’re also going to just get the building whoever buys it. That doesn’t include the golf courses and parking lots etc. so if someone does buy the hotel on the court house steps the justices will still own the lots and golf courses and tennis stuff and shit. And I could see them being butthurt and not letting them have it all. Jay is a real nut. I really think they’re fd. He sold those mines for $500 million in cash like 13 years ago or something. How do ya fck that up so fast? Shew
Pretty sure that the Marriott Corp was set to buy it when Justice outbid them. Marriott was going to fire half the people. Probably needs done

At the end, yes but that was at the end when the coal and trins went down hill. When it was booming money wasn't an issue. You should have seen the CSX fishing lodges in Jacksonville and Boca Grande. Frickin outrageous..

The United States is calling for a phase out in the unabated use of coal, Vice President Kamala Harris said on Saturday, backing calls for countries to adopt the stronger language of 'phasing out' rather than 'phasing down'.
