We have nothing to lose & we might be pleasantly surprised! At this point we don't really have a back-up plan! Let's get behind him & the team & not look for reasons to lose!

He has no choice but to be given a chance this week. The expectations are low, I will be happy with his performance if he can just do the little things like get the team in and out of the huddle, minimize turnovers, and make his checkdown throws.

He did not come out with swagger (as in dear-in-the-headlights) to say the least but he is not without talent and is an intelligent player. He is (IMHO) a thinking/calculated player as opposed to a 'natural' gamer. He will be ready to give all he has Saturday. Thats all I/we should ask.

He just needs to work on his timing with the receivers. I thought he did as well or better than can be expected. Especially as the game went on. He can spin the ball very well, and seems to be able to read the defences well enough.

We need more creativity in play calling for the run game to help him. Pistol formation, more misdirection runs, toss sweeps.... with the talented backs we have, the options are limitless.

Our line can't sustain blocks long enough for a toss sweep to work. Basically, that's what those flanker screens are, toss sweeps.

Airport............what is keeping our sustainers from sustaining long enough for a sweep to work? You know you know. Warez
In playing defense, you want to use the sideline to help stop a run or pass, it's another defender. you pursue from inside out. If you can't sustain a block, the defense can get out and pin the runner to the sideline. The OB line is another defender. Our D line is just not as good as last years and is young.

The season was lost when TCU won anyway. This actually might be a blessing in disguise for 2018. We likely upped our chances in retaining Grier's and therefore Sills services for next year and we finally will have a back up QB with meaningful game experience; setting us up to legitimately compete for a title shot next year. All we needed was to lay a small sacrifice at the alter in the form of an index finger. The Lord works in mysterious ways!

It was his middle finger and some imaginary god has nothing to do with it.

See there, you know you know you know. Perfect answer. Warez
