Buford (Ga.) defensive back Ryland Gandy told me that he came into this visit with expectations that admittedly weren't very high because he didn't know much about the school but he saw why it was called almost heaven during the trip. The main thing that stood out to him was how everyone was involved from the coaches to the support staff and they made him feel at home. The coaches made him feel as if he's somebody that can come in and compete immediately on the field and do well in the classroom. They think he can play anywhere in the secondary which is a good thing. He spent a lot of time talking with cornerbacks coach ShaDon Brown as well as the head coach Neal Brown. He said that he loved going to Coach Brown's house and being on the lake and hanging out with the other recruits. He told me he is very glad he made the choice to come visit and right now it's West Virginia and Pittsburgh that he is heavily looking at with a visit to Virginia next weekend. He plans to wait things out and make a decision when he is comfortable.
