Frank Beamer early 90s

I’m torn on NB. In the early 90s, VT wanted to can Beamer. He got one more year and (if memory serves) they won 9 games with Maurice DeShazo at QB…that was enough to save Beamers job and he became the most successful coach at VT. NB checks a lot of boxes, just not the most important one…for now?
