-- He says that for the last three years he's thought about coming to play college basketball in the United States. He likes how much to learn about the game transitioning from prep to college to the pros. He came to the United States two days before school started and he heard from WVU two weeks before that. Once they called for him, he couldn't pass up the opportunity. He says this is his fifth year away from home and he' not a home person, so it hasn't been hard for him. With his teammates and coaches and family supporting him, the transition has been easier than he thought.

-- He plays in a rivalry nicknamed "the Derby" in his home country so he says he understands rivalry games and what they mean to people just like Pitt vs. WVU. He understands that it's a big rivalry and he knows for sure that this will be important to him. He sees notifications on his phone about the war and tries to focus as much as he can. It's kind of hard to keep his focus with crazy things going on but he talks to his family everyday and he knows that he needs to be strong for them.

-- He says his play style has been shown off more here with how fast the game is. He thinks he's more capable and able to show off his skills here. He says the physicality standpoint is much different since teams are bigger than what he's played against where he was one of the tallest players back in Israel. He says this is a great path for him to professional level.

-- He said the Pitt football crowd and atmosphere was an unbelievable to experience.

-- He says he needs to gain 20-25 more pounds and he's working with a coach everyday to each the right things. He says he's gained 16 pounds since he came to WVU. Weightlifting for him is a new thing but they did more core and mobility exercises instead back at home.

-- He said he really likes the views and the nature over here in West Virginia. He said that the food transition was hard and he would get sick easily.
