MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 31, 2018) – West Virginia University football coach Dana Holgorsen has announced that USC graduate transfer Kenny Bigelow Jr., a 6-3, 300-pound defensive lineman from Elkton, Maryland, has signed a grant-in-aid for the 2018-19 academic year.

Bigelow Jr. was granted a sixth year of eligibility due to injuries. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology.

·Had three tackles, including a sack, against Arkansas State

·Registered two stops each vs. Arizona State (with a sack), Utah and Colorado (with a sack), and one vs. Wisconsin

·Limited in 2015 spring practice while recuperating from a 2014 knee injury

·As a junior at Red Lion Christian Academy in Bear (Del.), he made ESPNHS.com Underclass All-American first team and MaxPreps Junior All-American second team, while posting 40 tackles and 20 sacks

·As a 2010 sophomore, he had 39 tackles, five sacks and one fumble recovery on defense (he also played linebacker) and six receptions for 70 yards (11.7 avg.) with one touchdown on offense
 
Nice scramble on Dana's behalf. Hard to pick up DL depth this late in the game. I would have someone in every SEC town hitting up 2nd/3rd stringers.
