My Fiver on Rich Rodriguez's lack of a fullback commitment to our football program at this time, despite the return of the WVU fullback being the primary reason he was hired:

1. If we're not going to put a good fullback into WVU uniform, then who is going to spring open our tailback, a la Owen Schmitt for Steve Slaton in the first touchdown run in the '05 Sugar Bowl? One of our 47 defensive back transfers?

2. Craig Taylor.

3. It's fourth and goal from the 1-yard line, game on the line. Put a QB under center and a freak of nature fullback behind him. It's success rate is close to 100%...

4. Moe Fofana sends a BC Linebacker into the Earth's core.

5. If we take the field vs. Robert Morris without a bona fide WVU fullback in the same mold as Owen Schmitt, Jim Braxton, Jim Freeman, Rodney Woodard, Anthony Green, Craig Taylor, Rico Suave Tyler, Elijah Wellman, Moe Fofana, Ron Wolfley or Alex Shook, then what we need to do is find some muscle bound WVU farm boy with at least one year eligibility remaining, give him a couple shots of moonshine and pads, and put him out there. I refuse to believe that Rich is not going to utilize the I-formation and a fullback in his 2.0 version.
