It’s been a slow 7-10 days overall but I expect things to pick up by the weekend. PAC 12 media day is the 29th and Papa George is going to try and avoid serving shitburgers for lunch. Word coming out of Tucson is Cats are not happy with how TV contract negotiations are going; 30 day work window is coming up next week on media rights. We’ll see if Apple and Amazon step in and bail out the left coasters with a significant streaming package if ESPN does not. If the dominos start to fall with defections of PAC to Big 12, does the ACC or even BIG get aggressive? I think it gets interesting.
