Ahmad didn't play any worse than most of the other players and he scored more points than most of them and he only played 3 minutes in the 2nd half.

I assume Ahmad's only turnover was the walking violation on the inbounds play. He did the same thing earlier in the first half but it wasn't called. It was a 3-pointer that shouldn't have counted. The coaches should have caught the first one and told him.

Some people are trying to blame him for not playing "defense" in the 2nd half. I'd rather sacrifice some defense in order to have some offense.

Time to move on. Another sport and another coach to beat down. Holgs is next in line for a repeat. Right? In the big scheme of things it's all OK. Don't send the IRS your hard earned money...............send it to the sports program coaches and administrators of your choice.

That one turnover was a real doozy. You can't forget that you're not allowed to run the baseline on a spot throw-in. Talk about not having your head in the game. You can live with turnovers of a physical nature, but when you make boneheaded mental mistakes those are inexcusable.

OK. But virtually the whole team's performance was inexcusable. And, imo, it is also inexcusable to play Ahmad only three minutes in the 2nd half when he had proven to be a viable scoring threat.

Ahmad pretty much the only one hitting an outside shot. I agree it's baffling that he didn't get more pt in second half. Especially with other guys struggling.
It was one of those games where pretty much the entire team had an off game. Usually we have 2-3 guys step up and carry the team.
Huggins' decisions were also strange. Why stay in M2M? Why not at least try 1-3-1. Why have Holton and Adrian as the guys covering Walkup when he continued to burn them. He's 6-4. Once it was clear neither of those guys could defend him, why not go with a faster guy - Jevon, Miles or Phillip on him and have them face guard him? To just make no adjustment made no sense. Also, the technical on Huggs was just plain terrible.
I love Huggs, but even he had an off-game. It was a combined team and coaching loss.

Please tell me you are f-ing kidding? Devin williams had 6 turnovers in the first half. Carter was atrocious all night. No adjective can fit the poor play of Adrian on Friday. So explain the singling out of the one player that created the most positive mismatch for us???

IMO, the whole team played inept. Adrian didnt match up against Walkup and shouldn't have been put in the situation to defend him. Devin needed help rebounding SFA doubled up on him. The Mountaineers didnt have anything resembling offense. Add to that the team not taking SFA seriously. Cant just single out one thing or player in the loss.
