Eron Harris is a big part of a very good Mich St team

Averaging 6 points a game....

His 2 point performance (and getting benched for a freshman) against Kansas was very impressive.....

The grass isnt always greener, buddy

not that he's missed right now, but the kid is good

Weak - low IQ drifter and pussingtin at least put some effort into it.

iu

Let's look at the record:

Eron Harris

6.3 points per game, 3.5 rebounds, 17.3 minutes (8th on team) for Michigan State.

At WVU in his final season as a Mountaineer, Eron had 17.2 points, 3.5 rebounds in 31.4 minutes. So his scoring is about one-third what it was at WVU, hit rebounds are the same and his minutes at slightly more than half what he got at WVU.

7 WVU players are averaging more points per game that Eron Harris.

5 WVU players are averaging 3.5 rebounds or better per game compared to Eron Harris.

6 WVU players are getting more minutes than Eron Harris.

It doesn't look like WVU is hurting without Eron. I wish the kid well, as I do every former Mountaineer player. But "big" for Michigan State is a great exaggeration. He's not even top 5 quality for the Spartans.

He decided to leave. Wvu moved on with players that want to be here and play for Huggins. I'll take the latter all day long.

a kid who told Bob Huggins that his 13 shot attempts a game at WVU wasn't enough and he demanded more..........

is now averaging 5 attempts a game.

to this, I laff laff laff

Why he ever chose Mich State, I'll never understand..... He's a role player now. Good luck to THEM

not that he's missed right now, but the kid is good
what is wrong with you? seriously....what is your issue with WVU sports? I am so happy I do not know you because you would be a very depressing person to be around. Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving and try not to drag everyone down to your level that day....let folks around you enjoy the holiday. you always have this saturday to return to being a miserable human being.

I'm quite sure he's nothing like this in real world, he just likes to get a rise out of people, and it works!!!

this just in................ 17 minutes a game is now considered "starter minutes"..... even when your 8th best on the team in minutes/game

lol

when he has to defend, he gets about half that from Izzo.

Bitter? lol

Enjoying the fall of the ego is I

The kid looked Huggs in the face and said "I deserve more shots"

The kid looked Huggs in the face a d said "you need to talk me up more in the press"

The kid had the balls to look a HoF coach in the face and say "you need to stop hastling me about defense. Im the best player we have"

Now he is a role player and is getting beat out by a true freshman and has the #2 class in 2016 showing up to take his minutes next year

He went from scoring 30 against Kansas while at WVU to clocking 10 minutes and 2 points against them at Sparty......lol!

I'm quite sure he's nothing like this in real world, he just likes to get a rise out of people, and it works!!!

I seriously doubt that it is even possible to get a rise out of people on an free anonymous message board and if you did how would you know it. You are just as likely to get the same reaction by stating a diametrically opposed view.

Where do you get these "quotes"? Does Huggs tell them to you while he let's you sit on his lap and play with his man boobs?

Anyway ... if what you say is true, then Eron Harris had completely unrealistic expectations of himself and his coach at WVU. But now, at MSU, it looks like he might be learning from reality.

And this is a bad thing in your eyes? It really is a good thing if he is getting a more realistic self-appraisal ... you know, learning from his mistakes.

And the quote from Izzo in the article that Paper (sensationalist that he/she/it is) has provided makes it sound like Izzo is on the track of 1) supporting Harris, and 2) helping Harris to have realistic expectations.

Again, this is a bad thing?

... and Eron Harris came off the bench to collect 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists in his most comfortable game yet.
“He’s starting to look like the guy we all know he is,” Izzo said of Harris, the junior transfer from West Virginia.

The way you have acted since Harris left makes me think that Huggs could pull one of his stumbling drunk head-on collisions with a bathroom door, hotel furniture, or coaching clinic and you would find a way to blame it on Eron Harris.

He went from star at WVU to role player at Michigan State. Spin that

Are you talking to me?

If you are it remains to be seen what Harris becomes at MSU. I personally have no idea how successful he will or won't be. But Keaton is funny.

I mean really ... what if Harris turns into a productive starter or a very successful 6th or 7th guy off the bench on a very good MSU team? It may not happen. But if it does everything that Keaton has said to run down Harris kind of goes out the door. Get it?

Harris "must" fail for Keaton's take on things to pan out. But if he doesn't fail ... if he actually learns a few lessons about life and himself ... and goes on to have a solid to very good stay at MSU and is better prepared to get on with life .....HOW COULD THAT BE A BAD THING for a young man who needs to learn about how life really works? And if he is successful then Keaton's near constant narrative about Harris proves worthless.

Even if Harris is less than successful on the court, but still learns a few real world lessons then it will have been a good thing for him to transfer. In that case WVU loses an egotistical player and the egotistical player learns some life lessons. In that case it's still all good. Get it?

But the last thing Keaton needs is an Eron Harris who actually learns lesson and could be productive at MSU. It would completely derail his narrative. In Keaton's world nobody learns from their mistakes and gets on with life. In Keaton's world you either sit on Huggs lap and play with his man boobs or you are an idiot.

Like I said .... Keaton is funny.

like the whole "moral of the story is life lessons" act on a sports forum..... lol

tell us again about all that growing animosity and distaste for Bob Huggins growing in Morgantown and among the major donorship, Tambo........

you nailed that one. Gonna be yet another looooooong, cold season of CBB for you, pal.

or how Huggins can't recruit or coach up the PG position....... back to back 1st team all conference PG the last 2 seasons and a current position that is averaging:

19 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists, 6 steals, and 3.5 TOs a game between Carter and Phillip.....

Tambo has had a rough go at it since the one losing season under Huggs....... all his predictions whizzed by faster than Eron Harris' man driving to the bucket...

What I posted was said to our Staff. I wouldn't have posted it otherwise. It is in that where I see a complete and utter lack of respect not only to our program, but the HoF coach, and WVU in general by a player who once referred to himself as Kobe in an interview while throwing his teammates under the bus.....

But.................. Tambo says if he learns a life lesson, then all is forgiven. It makes a sweet Halmark Channel movie I guess.

You'll notice I've never said anything negative about the other 2 players who left that year, because they didn't degrade my alma mater on the way out the door.........

The fact remains that Eron Harris gave our coach an ultimatum: Feature me more or I'm leaving.......

13 shots a game wasn't enough for his time at WVU............. and now he gets 5.

Laff, Laff, Laff..........

looks like eron is fitting in more than you would like:

my question for you is.. why so bitter?
Just curious, why do you want to waste so much time on something that no longer impacts WVU BB. Harris was lazy and a cancer to the program.

I wish him luck since he now has a 2nd chance to change his attitude and make a better future for himself.

However WVU is 5 time the better team for having him out of the program.

Time to move on

Happy Thanksgiving Keaton.

I'll stick to my narrative about Bob Huggins: With Huggs in any given season a good to great team could break out or a college basketball circus could be the show. And quite often the head coach himself can be quoted through years complaining about the ineffectiveness of his guards. That's just the way it's been through the years. I can accept that. Apparently you cannot.

You sure are funny Keaton. I am Dr. Pavlov to your Dog. It's always been that way.

PS: And yes .... Some big donors were starting to get in Ollie's ear about Huggs. Just as people all over WV were beginning to question Huggs. That fact that his program is relatively stable now does not mean that those things did not happen just a few years ago.

Like I said... in your world someone either sits on Huggs lap and plays with his man boobs or they are an idiot. We get it. We understand what makes you tic.

Ding! Ding!

So in other words ..... If Eron Harris really does learn a lesson from his foolishness you still reserve the right to incessantly slam him because he "degraded" your alma mater..

I get it Keaton. I really do. You'll say anything.

good gravy.

it was one post. i had no idea it would get such a visceral reaction.

please take your own advice...it's time to move on... let it go.

Those people were idiots though. Huggs has won everywhere he has been for 30+ years. Then we have one season under .500 and his seat is warm? Not to mention he took us to a Final 4 just a few years prior. It was very irrational and a huge overreaction. Most fans didn't understand that even great coaches have down years due to bad recruiting choices or bad luck. The rational basketball fans warned of this.

It's funny in hindsight.

There were no donors in Ollie's ear about Huggs other than to see how they could help with the upcoming Coliseum renovations....

And I'll say anything? Tambo is the same chump that ran off from the scout board and disapppeared all last basketball season here too once Huggs removed the issues and brought back in some more- mentally strong recruits

6 points in mop up duty against awful BC

Killin' it

I love what Huggs is doing in the last couple years and his recruiting is really pleasing right now, but watching you act like a jilted little bitch girlfriend over Eron Harris is gold..............Gold I tell ya.

Hurdy has you pegged so hard. laff laff laff.
