Sure, we need help right now, but we are seeing the fruit born out of relying way too heavily on transfers the past few years. We hardly have any 4-year players truly developed outside of a couple of positions. We had to use scholarship place for guys who were here 1, maybe 2 seasons, and that cost us a guy who could be here right now providing us some help.

We're going to be hurting into 2021-2022 and I would rather us build up with our own guys instead of wasting several spots on short-term fixes. If we can't get good 4-year guys in here with likely early playing time available at most spots, then we need better recruiters. It isn't healthy for a program like ours to keep getting 1 or 2 year guys to fill voids and hoping for the best. We aren't OU.

That, or keep hoping we are able to not have a bust from any transfer each 1-2 seasons and exacerbate this problem on down the road.
