MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University fifth-year senior center Jesse Edwards will miss approximately four weeks due to a fractured right wrist, men's basketball coach Josh Eilert announced today. Edwards will have surgery this week.

Edwards is averaging 14.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game, starting all 10 contests at center.

 
Hope those that claimed on a public board that the young man "quit" will learn not to be so harsh with knee jerk reactions. But I doubt it. Been reading that kind of stuff on here for 20 years

Go back and watch BEFORE the injury.
 
Frank Martin's scout was fairly simple on Jesse Edwards. He doesn't like being pushed around, so push him around and he'll fold.

With Big 12 coming up that would have been the plan for all 18 games.
