Kinda goes to Krugs point but I blame more of that on Brown and Scott. Donaldson down 15 pounds three months into the transfer? I mean who didn't see that coming? He made the right choice but would have been a star in this offense.

"Stephens, host of the Locked on Buckeyes podcast, said that players like Donaldson can inspire confidence in the coaching staff, teammates and fans. Standing at 6-foot-2 and 226 pounds, Donaldson brings an enticing mix of size, explosiveness and speed that could make him a focal point in the Buckeyes’ offense.

A key factor in Donaldson’s decision to come to Columbus was Ohio State running backs coach Carlos Locklyn, known for developing transfer players into NFL-caliber backs. Locklyn’s competitive, development-first coaching style aligns with Donaldson’s mentality and goals.

Donaldson is expected to share the backfield with rising talent James Peoples in what’s projected to be a balanced, NFL-style offense in 2025. With his physical tools, experience and adaptability, Donaldson is not only poised to contribute but could also emerge as a leader in the group."
