Almost as many dem votes as GOP. WV dems are different than the more effeminate blue state ones.

WV has always been more conservative ...

for all the flack that Byrd took in his career about being a lefty, he was a fairly conservative representative. I think Rockefeller was more liberal, but I don't think that any Democrat representative from the state of WV has ever gotten great grades from the liberal graders.

Other states, if they are smart, will no longer recognize reciprocal agreements.

We are going to make it legal for anyone, think about that considering the IQ level of some people, to conceal a deadly weapon in their pants pocket, jacket pocket, etc.

We are no longer requiring anyone to be knowledgeable of the laws before concealing a firearm. Most don't know the places where firearms are prohibited, regardless of permit.

We are no longer requiring anyone to stop and think, ahead of time, about the consequences of using deadly force should they need to.

Do we require people to demonstrate the ability to safely and responsibly operate a motor vehicle and be knowledgeable of the laws before we give them a license to operate a motor vehicle?

So, you thought it was difficult to acquire a CCW in WV prior to this law?

Those same low IQ people are also carrying open currently and lugging stuff in and out of the woods on a continuous basis. Should they no longer be trusted either?

We never required people to do that before based on the EXTREMELY laxed requirements for obtaining one now.

Yes we do. It is not a constitutionally protected right to keep and BEAR a motor vehicle. That is a privilege.

In the state of WV, I don't consider this a big deal considering the overwhelming majority of people are gun owners and have far more knowledge of firearm use and safety than a lot of other states. JMO of course.
