WVSPORTS.COM DeVries applauds WVU's team effort following win over Colorado

Looks like DeVries is in agreement with my analysis. Toughness and heart and he didn't whine about officiating.

Because he loses lots of money for doing so.

I guess you didn't notice him on the floor complaining to officials about piss poor calls.

That is called coaching. You can complain about officiating without crossing the line as well.

Not if you were Bob Huggins. Devries doesn't make excuses and knows what he's doing.

I'm a fan, I will bitch about retarded calls all game.

Road warriors - 4-2 away from Morgantown against top 100 competition. We probably haven’t had this much success on the road since the FF year.

Not true, but whatever floats your boat. Now if you said last 6 years then yes.

When was the last time we had that kind of run against quality teams away from home? 3 of those wins are top 16 in the NET which alone is a major outlier for us, and have a whole conference season ahead to continue to add road wins so who knows where we actually end up.

Are you going to be the first one to cry and bitch when the L's come? Two of those wins were neutral sights early season. Great wins yes. But don't act like they make us no 1 contender for the title. Colorado highly overrated and 0-4.

Best win of season was at Kansas. Better than Gonzaga, Arizona or Georgetown.

If we win against either Houston or Iowa State, that will be our top win but I find out chances to be slight. But the others are also very impressive in my viewpoint and we will have more impressive wins.

Houston hasn't exactly beaten anyone meaningful but I know they're more talented than we are and deeper. With losses to #11 Auburn, #9 Alabama and San Diego State.

Houston has dominated their Big 12 opponents by average score of 74.5 to 51.25. The most points they have given up in Big 12 play was 57 @ Kansas State.

@ OSU 60-47
H BYU 86-55
H TCU 65-46
@ KSU 87-57

We are going to need to hit shots especially from 3 and will need more than 1 player hitting the 3's. They are not a super tall team but they are long, fast and talented. Play 11 players a game with 9 of them over 10 minutes. Their depth will be our death.

Houston has won 8 straight.

The standard is NCAA Tournament. That’s what it always is and probably always will be. If the standard is not being met I bitch, if it is I’m happy with anything extra. Right now we’re doing stuff we haven’t seen in a long time, if the road wins stop I won’t be upset because we have a season’s worth of big road wins in January already.
