Cord cutting help please

We just got notice that our cable provider is no longer going to provide service so we are free agents ( Lumos). They have a deal
With direct tv for their subscribers and we can stream or have a satellite…. Several friends have recommended YouTube TV.

Any advice or testimonials would be appreciated. My watching habits are mostly WVU sports and Golf channel, NFL, etc.
