For many years, West Virginia has applied a tax on soft drinks amounting to a penny per 16.9 fluid ounces. That adds up to about $15 million to benefit the West Virginia University Medical School.

I guess since the China sniffles postponed the 2020 season till 2021, they kept the date 2020 and there will be another’s season in 2021 so there is no confusion in 30 years to have to explain why two titles were won in 2021. Another blame it on COVID.
