Colorado beats #17 TCU in Ft Worth

510 passing yards for CU. We'll see if this is more an indictment against TCU's defense than a coming out party for the CU offense.

Glad we played moneyball with our no name lame duck nerd coach when a game changer was just sitting at the FCS level within our grasp.
Do you honestly think Prime would have come to WVU? If so, go back and look at how he did everything he could to prevent Devine from coming here.

Sorry didn’t realize Colorado had such an intense emotional connection to Deion Sanders. The fact that Devine ended up here and still speaks positively about the school would work as a positive for us, and then it would just come down to money.

You must not have seen the Pat McAfee interview with Deion where he asked him if he considered WVU.

It doesnt take a good coach 5 years to turn a program around anymore. This isnt the 90's.
It hasn't taken 5 or more years to turn a program around in our lifetimes, with the exception of maybe CFE. It may take that long for a program that has no previous track record of success or one that has spent 15-20 years, which is the majority of a football recruit's life, languishing in obscurity. Neither case apply to WVU. And even in those cases where it has taken 5 or more years, there is improvement and glimpses of a bright future. That also does not apply to WVU.

Sure Brown could be the exception to the rule, but it is not likely. And anyone who thinks he will be has as much reason to think so as the average lottery player who thinks they will be the big winner.

I agree with everything you say. I was really excited about Brown when we hired him but it has been very clear the last couple years he's not the right guy. I really hope he wins 8 games this year but regardless if he does, the dude is just not the right fit and it's best for both parties to move on. WVU should be in the top 25 or near it every year I think that's where the bar should be

When you're allowed to come into a locker room and tell your team pack your shit your done here and then have an open wallet to replace them all is a sure sign of the times have changed.

Education no longer a matter
Dedication is no more

Deion is doing an experiment at Colorado plain and simple. If it works you will see more coaches and schools do the same. This will no doubt be an even bigger destruction to many more schools than it already has been. Education be damned it's about dollars. It should no longer be called college football or amateur athletes.

High School players will soon get a choice of do I take the money and play for School A to get rich or get my education and play for school B where nobody will even care.

So you are saying that kids in the 80's and 90's were going to schools for education and "play a little ball" second? :joy: Man, there's a reason why the joke of "degree in basket weaving"was thought of several decades ago. This has been going on for a long, LONG time. It's not something that just happened.

As for Coach Prime getting rid of 60+ players, do you realize that scholarships are only year-to-year? A player doesn't get a "4-year scholarship". They get a 1-year deal. It has just been common courtesy for new coaches to keep the old coaches players and suffer through a miserable 1-2 year rebuild process. What Deion is doing is simply bringing in his guys to win in year 1. He is cleaning out the bad attitudes and losing culture. That's what he has going for him more than anything. Not the X's and O's.

inheriting a 1-11 team is the definition of a bare cupboard. Isn’t that the Neal Brown supporter’s favorite excuse for him? Never mind he’s in year 5 and it’s now pay to play.
Colorado at least took a shot at competing. We gave up on this year when we hired Wren Baker to not fire Brown.

It's what everyone was told they were doing. It's a rule the lame NCAA made up which nobody follows. What Deion is doing is a NFL shit.

What is happening now is lack of dedication by the Player (students), coaches and school leaders. Just name it what it really is and be done with the school part of it and classes. It's called semi pro ball or minor league.

The courtesy of today has been tossed out by liberal shits. He is paying athletes more than they're worth and using them to get to his next rung on the ladder at a major school.

Your hate of Wren Baker is unjust.

You’re close, but it was not “common courtesy”. It was the fact a D1 player had to sit out a year if he transferred. There was no portal to replace a roster. If Randy Moss situation happened today, he would’ve laughed at Marshall and went somewhere like Ohio State.

And this is bad or wrong if true? Would you be saying this if a businessman did the same to use his small company to get a shot as CEO at a bigger company? Like it or not, college football is a business.

like I said dumbass. It should not be called college and or amateur sports anymore. It should be called minor league pro ball. Technically has nothing to do with college or being a student.

He will never answer you because he just wants to do his best with ignorant explanations and circle jerk talk. Does the same to Bell.

TCU overrated as usual. Glad for Deion and his pompous attitude cause I hate TCU.

Deion experiment of booting entire team and going portal if it works will destroy college football even further.
You hate all teams not named WVU, especially those of the B12-2-2+1+3+4, or whatever it is going to be.

Name-calling. Why don't you go back and see the 1980's Miami Hurricanes. It's not been "amateur" for decades loser.

It's always been considered amateur sports for college athletes. I don't care what you claim. Just because some teams cheat at it doesn't change the definition.

Now it should not be tied to college at all.

Name calling, right. Look in a mirror fool.

Duke just said hello Prime see you in title game.
