The Repub post-election day conversation to steal the election started quickly, dang. Let the truth be told and justice be served.

Investigators on the Jan. 6 Committee believe that former Energy Secretary Rick Perry authored a Nov. 4 text to Mark Meadows suggesting that three state legislatures overrule their voters and cast electoral votes for Trump, CNN reports.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) presented the text on Tuesday night, which reads: “HERE’s an AGRESSIVE (sic) STRATEGY: Why can t (sic) the states of GA NC PENN and other R controlled state houses declare this is BS (where conflicts and election not called that night) and just send their own electors to vote and have it go to the SCOTUS.”

CNN reported that the phone number that the text was sent from matches Perry’s, according to both people who have Perry’s phone number and public records from his time as Energy Secretary.

A Perry spokesperson denied to the network that he was the author of the text, and was unable to explain why the number appeared to match that of the former Texas governor.

Perry sent the text on Nov. 4, one day after the election was held and as votes in key states were still being counted.

Keep focusing on Trump and not what voters need. Working great for poll numbers and stalling the agenda. Gonna be more fun when Trump doesn’t even run in 24 and you’re unable to project this boogeyman on DeSantis

Slow moe back again lol

It’s pathetic. December 17,2021. He still is obsessed with Trump. 😂😂 And cites CNN. 😂😂
For a long time I thought that idiot was just stirring the pot and trolling. Then he responded to me with a long winded rant that became obvious he really is that stupid lol. And he believes his nonsense. If he really is an attorney like he claimed once, he must’ve been disbarred or failed his licensure exam. No way he’s practicing law. I’d be surprised if he’s even working a job anywhere. Maybe he’s handicapped and we should be easy on him?

Plenty of heads to roll on this.

What more do you expect? All the Democrats swallowed the Russia shit sandwich & licked their hands afterwards & still believe it , cause CNN told them so . CNN, who has been proven wrong (knowingly) more times than I have bad grammar & they still hang on every story ...What do you expect from people who forget history & believe socialism is a good thing

And now they want us to believe that Jan 6 was pre planned by Trump and his administration.

Exactly what I've been saying for several months here in Ohio: The two highest profile.....at least in current TV advertising.....GOP candidates headed into next Spring's OH Senate primary (to replace Rob Portman) are Mike Gibbons and mega-rich guy Bernie Moreno..

So you all know, both of these guys literally have"pro-Trump" at the top of absolutely everything on which each of them are running. Even funnier is how Gibbons is running just as hard against Hillbilly Elegy-guy JD Vance, who's being accused.....Lord help us all......of apparently having come out solidly against Trump back in 2016.

Of course, the left-wing rank-and-file is anything but a bastion of deep thinking; but the way these guys are running re-confirms what I've been saying for years; right-wing politicians are clearly convinced their constituency are complete and absolute idiots.

Moreno, for crying out loud, is criticizing friggin' Jimmy Carter in his ads. And of course, while they're both prioritizing whatever-it-is that's happening at the US/Mexico border, you don't hear a blessed syllable from either as to what they'll do for Ohio. Guess they're just doing what Steve Bannon and Jim Jordan are telling them.

There's obviously still a lot of time until the primary, and these two clearly have plenty of money to try and convince R voters they're the biggest jackboots in the universe. But I myself still don't think.....when the State/national establishment really starts to spool up their advocacy......either will beat long-time right-wing sweetheart Josh Mandel; who got slapped by Sherrod Brown back in 2012 (and eventually decided against trying again in 2018).

Guess i figure him to try and one-up Moreno in 2022 by coming out publically against The New Deal......

The right should be running on a Trump agenda. Compared to whatever this bullshit the left is running with, it was way better for the country. Trump’s problem is he was personally toxic. His agenda was not.

If the left weren’t complete idiots, they’d realize Biden is slowly and quietly putting Trumps agenda in play. Remain in Mexico is starting back up. Kids in cages is still happening. Tariffs against China and everywhere else are in effect. Etc.

Biden is getting bent over on the world stage and it’s evident to everyone. He and the Democrats lost the midterms and next main election with the AFG withdrawal.

Was he really “toxic”? Remember, from day 1 he was attacked with lie after lie after lie. Nonstop. And serious lies that could’ve landed prison time. I don’t think he was toxic. I think nobody had his back. And THAT is unfortunate.

That strategy will sure get you a victory in 2022 and 2024 😂

Repubs hate it and want it to stop, yes I know.
No keep talking while inflation, gas pump madness 💵, crime everywhere and open borders are happening under yo guys watch. Get that popcorn 🍿 ready for this wave

It must be uncomfortable watching Trump and Repub traitors get exposed. Worry about your team who has nothing but culture wars and fear to offer. Democratic obstruction is not a platform. Inflation and gas prices are transitory, there's always crime everywhere and Repubs never quit complaining about the border.

There is a way to articulate an argument or respond to an attack without being as crass as he was. 70% of the time, he was spot on. 30% of the time was like he kicked a baby.

To each their own. I felt he was spot on 100% of the time. And I enjoyed every minute of him putting the media and democrats in their place. Most American people are sick of these disgusting people and it’s about time they were told.

As much as I enjoyed his way of dealing with people on the left & media I knew he was turning off many voters. A lot of people dont pay attention to smaller policies that can make huge long term differences & that was a Trump strong point , unfortunately people pay attention to words & not policies.

I’m fine with the sentiment. Again, I thought someone extremely effective at it was Kayleigh McEnany and currently, Ron DeSantis is.
