Akron (Oh.) St. Vincent-St. James cornerback Deamonte King told me that he really likes West Virginia now and the Mountaineers were the first power five school to offer him a scholarship. He took a visit to campus for the junior day and told me that he was very impressed with what he saw. The fact the Mountaineers became the first power five school to offer him meant a lot and he plans to come back for more visits. Right now he has no favorites but is being recruited by offensive line coach Ron Crook. I'll have more in a story.
