I exchanged a few text messages with Woodberry Forest (Va.) 2017 QB Lindell Stone. He camped at West Virginia over the summer, got the day's MVP honors, impressed head coach Dana Holgorsen and earned a scholarship offer back in July. He told me that West Virginia remains as a program that he is taking very seriously. He also has kept in close contact with both Holgorsen and grad assistant QB coach Michael Burchett. Stone is trying to make it to Morgantown for West Virginia's October 10th game against Oklahoma State.
