starting to hear rumblings about conference realignment.

Would not say what he's hearing.

Brad Howe stated that all the conferences are in good shape, in his opinion, with the exception of the Pac 12. he said even discussion of the Longhorn Network has now quieted down from what it was a few years ago.

Howe went on to basically say the question pertaining to the Pac 12 is if that conference is going to be the poacher or the poachee.

He later reminded everyone that the Big 12 has already gone through this exercise of looking at adding other schools a couple of years ago and determined that unless some school "moves the needle", they will not become part of the Big 12. He specifically referenced both UCF and BYU and stated it was his opinion both schools continue to not move the needle for the Big 12.

He went on to say something to the effect that if you're the Big 12 and you're looking at the 2 Arizona schools, then that is an entirely different situation. Those schools would move the needle, in his opinion.

Howe thinks it's going to be really interesting to see what happens now what with the Pac 12 having a new commissioner and other streaming players, such as Amazon, getting into the mix broadcasting NFL games.

Neither Howe nor Caridi would make a prediction as to where they thought all this was going to go.
