This is a great job, and DD is doing an outstanding job coaching this team. He deserves a ton of credit for what he’s accomplished. That said, the infrastructure here—top-notch facilities, incredible fan support, and a strong tradition—has definitely helped set him up for success. The same goes for football. People like to say the football and basketball jobs aren’t the best, but I don’t agree. Sure, there are challenges, but coaches across every era have won here and won big. It’s not just about the coaching—it’s always been a special place to play and coach.
