West Virginia hosted their first one-day camp of the summer over the weekend and one prospect made the trip all the way from Missouri City (Tx.) Elkins in outside linebacker Kenneth Murray. If the last name sounds familiar it's because he is the nephew of former West Virginia safety Lind Murray who played for the Mountaineers in the early 1980's. He told me that West Virginia is a school he is obviously very interested in and he still has family in the state as well as in Ohio so distance would not be a factor. He currently stands 6-foot-2, 210-pounds, and while he originally played safety he moved to linebacker this spring and has stood out with his performance. He told me he had some great discussions with the West Virginia coaches and he definitely plans to return to Morgantown at some point in the future. He currently holds offers from Kansas and Houston. I'll have more in a full article.
