Copied from another site, but this sounds really promising. Devries is knocking it out of the park so far.

West Virginia signee Braydon Hawthorne is due for his rankings debut

I wrote about Braydon Hawthorne on Friday and he gave me no choice but to double-dip and write about him again based on his performance on Saturday. On Saturday, Hawthorne and his Huntington Prep team took on SoCal Academy against his two fellow West Virginia signees in Trent MacLean and Kelvin Odih and Hawthorne was the star of the show.

The 6-foot-8 forward with a 7-foot-3 wingspan showcased his skillset, versatility and impact on both sides of the ball all game long.

He is very mobile, has some pop off the ground, is very comfortable attacking and making moves off the dribble, can step out and knock down the three and shows feel as a passer. He is a senior that could pass as a sophomore physically but his instincts, feel, skill and impact are all already very promising. He needs time to grow into his body and fill out his frame and when he does, Darian Devries and the Mountaineers staff will be thrilled they landed the under-the-radar recruit who is due for his rankings debut come next update.
