--West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins said what went wrong is the same thing that’s gone wrong anytime they’ve played this year. Every game they’ve come out and played pretty well in the first half and came out flat as can be in the second half. They missed at least ten layups in the second half and seven or eight paint touch shots. It blows his mind how you’re on the inside a guy behind you and you double pump and miss a layup. He doesn’t know if it’s fashionable.
--Huggins said they lost their intensity in the second half on defense. They were all penetrate and pitch shots. They were active in the first half but in the second half they just straight lined them and they stood around. The rest of the guys sat there and looked and they flipped it to a guy and they dunked it.
