And before anyone wants to focus on his "anti-Trump" statements........I want to point out how he is AGAIN criticizing the Democrats.
Criticizing Garland, who is certainly a leftist moron, because he didn't work harder to nail Trump on false charges while giving a pass on the real crimes committed by Biden, Hillary, and the Democrat Party. That's Maher throwing some red meat to his lefty base since he's been on their bad side lately for not falling in line. Gotta laugh at the "conservatives" who keep thinking Maher has swallowed the red pill. He is still a die hard Marxist. Always has been and always will be.
When Bill Maher gets to this point then I will admit he actually gets the big picture. I don't agree with her on everything but this is where the old Democrat Party members need to get to.

That guy (Maher) is a Comedian...he's not a seasoned political analyst. I can't understand anyone who takes what he has to say with more than a grain of salt? Total aimless bloviating IMO. 😏

To be fair most comedians have common sense and a better feel for what people are thinking and feeling. He is a liberal always has been and will always be . That's fair, and he's certainly entitled to his opinions on political matters. I just get a little concerned when folks start equating his opinions for the way things actually are. Just as you said at his heart, he's nothing but a Lefty BIG TIME so I pretty much dismiss his overall credibility based on that alone even if he occasionally hits the mark on some of his opinions.
Old school liberal or new school? Way big difference. I've never been a liberal but use to agree with some things and on a social platform I still do , maybe I'm just libertarian in those aspects.
Funny thing is old school Democrats fought tooth and nail over free speech so they could preach socialism now that we are at minimum 70% socialists the government is limiting free speech... yeah he ain't talking about that is he ?
Nope. No one on the Left is! In fact if you look to see where most of today's censorship, speech restrictions, Religious persecution and in some cases political imprisonment is coming from, you'll find most folks on the Left perfectly "OK" with all of it!
Look at their silence over how Trump's cases are being handled. Look how the Jan 6th protestors were treated with jail time vs these so called Palestinian protestors on College campuses? Look at Antifa and BLM rioters compared to how Abortion clinic Prayer Warriors are treated? In the case of the rioters, no arrests, no jail time, & no fines for destroying property and in some cases even attacking police. Pro Life activists who did nothing more than stand across the street from abortion mills holding "Prayer sessions" were arrested with jail time!
