More like better adjustments. As CU went zone and WVU never figured it out. Malone dominated Hansberry inside as Hansberry couldn't guard him.
Can't have Small going 28 minutes without a basket either.
No way we drop 2 lines, may not even drop at all because like I said, the bracket is probably already done and will only shift for bid stealers or a very shocking deep run.
I’d rather 10 or 11 than 9 though.
Did Darrin guard under the basket? I must have missed that part.
Darrin biggest fault was not finding a way to adjust his defense or put the offense in a good position. The players need to execute and Colorado players executed. If not you need to find a way to do so or find a defense to stop them.
WVU had no answer nor a player that could stop the CU adjustments.

He got beat by one of the worst teams in the conference.......TWICE this year (ASU and Colorado).
The team got beat by Colorado and ASU.
This team also lost to a bad TCU, KSU and Baylor teams.
These team also beat some very good teams.
There were several losses that should have been wins and a few wins that should have been losses.
If it pisses you off because Devries is a good coach and has led WVU to NCAA tournament. That's to bad. Get over it.
That so called bad team Colorado also beat 22-9 Connecticut.
Better first year in Big 12 than Bob Huggins. Better first season than John Beilien.
They should do all they can to keep Devries here.
We went into the offseason with 0 players after as disastrous of a season as you could ever imagine. We were probably top 25 if Tucker doesn’t go down, and still managed a successful season anyway. So take it down a notch, a dead program has new life, WVU basketball is fun again. We can lose by 50 next week and the season will have been a success.
Would we rather be Pitt post Dixon? Going from Stallings to Capel with 1 measly round of 64 appearance by way of the First Four in 9 years? Because that’s where it felt like we were going after Huggins and luckily we hit it out of the park with this hire. We’ll have Tucker back next year and a full offseason for the staff to work, it’s gonna be exciting times ahead.
