Now.......................Let's Bring On The Mountaineers! Here's hoping for a win over K State followed by a win for the Big Championship. Yes, I want to see the Mountaineers win the Big. It's important to the players (and the coach).
Nightmare crew for the game. KK Higgins and Stuart. KSU is masterful at the flop too. We could break the phantom foul record.
There's the basketball offense we know and love. Damnit even if they recover to win, the play in this game and last game will get you sent home on day 1.
Adrian doesn't fake anything. He just goes up for his shot. There in lies the problem.
Offense is horrible. KSU playing good defense, but we can't hit wide open looks. West just passed on a great look. With his shot, you gotta take it. Don't let any other shots affect you. Previous misses don't matter, we need plays to be made and if the jump shot is your strength, you don't pass on open looks
Are you sure you the tipoff was at 9 PM? It's now 10:40 PM and our guys still haven't shown up to play.
No excuse for playing this poorly, but KSU isnt playing great either. Thus the officiating will affect the outcome and it's definitely been one sided in favor of the Wildcats. Always some give and take, but they are getting way more tricky tac stuff, yet get away with obvious goal tends, hitting our guys' forearms during shots, and shouldering/hooking our guys when on offense.
Ugly. Last 2 games the team that deserved to lose least came out on top. Don't expect ISU to be so forgiving of such a dog**** half. They can bury us by halftime if the boys pull this crap again.
Very encouraging to see Esa take over the 2nd half and ultimately hit the GW FT
I guess a win is a win, but my God. Any decent team will throttle WVU going away if these boys keep playing like this.

What was the final shooting percentage? Great defense though, especially that last play.
Whether they are a decent team or not, they didn't play like one tonight. If you watched the game and didn't see how lucky WVU was to not be down 25 points at halftime, we can never see eye to eye. They missed open looks and made unforced mistakes that kept this from being a rout. And that's my point. Both teams hurt themselves, but WVU can't count on that to continue as ISU just needs to play their average game to be up 20 on WVU in a half if all the Mountaineers can get is 16 points.
Conference tournaments are ridiculous formats that often produce garbage games. We won't be playing 2 games in 24 hours the rest of the year and this juggernaut ISU team you're so scared about has already lost to us twice in pretty routine fashion. Win or lose tomorrow we're in good shape for the tournament. Enjoy the fact that we overcame a horrible half and shooting performance and knocked off a desperate team likely playing an elimination game.
