I am beyond pleasantly surprised by this team. I really hope that we can keep
Devries. Small has been one of the better players I have seen in WVU uniform
and I go back to the days of Ron Williams and Carl Head. I have never seen a
WVU team so dependent offensively on one player. It is almost to the point
that if he has a bad game we lose. Harris is an unusual player to say the least
he is a great defender not good but great. He shoots foul throws well (left handed)
but can't make a 3 pt to save his ass. They don't even guard him at that range.
He scores best on layups and dunks off of fast breaks. It seems to me most
of his other shots are 8-10 ft runners or banks with his right hand which he
occasionally makes. If Powell improves as he should we will be lucky to keep
him 4 yrs. Andre has been a pleasant surprise. I think we will get to the big
dance but am worried about UCF.
