MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Big 12 Conference announced today that the West Virginia University men's basketball game at Baylor scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 12 has been postponed in accordance with the Conference's game interruption guidelines.

The postponement is in response to West Virginia being unable to meet the required COVID-19 thresholds on Monday, as established by the Big 12 Conference. WVU will work with the Big 12 Conference and Baylor to reschedule the game.

"Our intent is to get the spread under control as soon as possible for the health and safety of all involved," Lyons said. "While this issue has hit many college basketball programs, we have been fortunate to have played 13 games so far this season."

No determination has been made for any future WVU games at this time.

Most people were watching what happened with their program.because they have a player in the high risk category.
But their game against Tx Tech is on for tonight.

Truthfully think it was something outside of Saturday's game
Just hard to put these players in a prison like environment.
They all party with some females. Who knows if one of them has Covid or not.

Or...

Huggins is taking advantage. Give the program 2 weeks off and practice them.

Huggins has already spoke out about this conference.
Maybe it is true. Oklahoma St proved that tonight.

We will find out.
I would like to see a more athletic WVU come out the other side.

Next 3 WVU games all postponed. Lot of down time for Huggins Heroes. COVID 3, WVU 0.

WVU is a good team. They gave Gonzaga their toughest test

But they are 2-3 in the conference. Could easily be 0-5. Definitely 1-4.

That isn't good enough for Huggins. We will see what happens.

Who starts and who doesn't is meaningless. Who gets the most minutes is what matters.

I never give up on Huggins. He never gives up on his teams. That's why he's a sure Hall of Fame selection eventually. And he provides me with great entertainment. My favorite scowl.
