One of my friends Mickey Plumley and former WVU linemen posted this on his Facebook feed..it should be a fun event..

Looking forward to next Thursday night, April 20, when "The Band of Brothers" comes to Charleston, WV. Thank you, Tighe Crawford Bullock, for hosting us at Bullock Distillery, Taylor Books for handling things on the book side, The New Rivers Network's Darrin McGuffin, Greg Crist and Dave Gorby for broadcasting live starting at 7p, and Mark Parsons for doing a splendid job on publicity. It should be a fun night! 6-9p., The Bullock Distillery, 121 Washington St. W.

We are pleased to announce that "Band of Brothers, Then and Now" ranks #7 nationally (April 13) at Amazon for sales of newly released football-related books. Thank you!

Written by WVU alumnus Frank Fear, the book chronicles not only our 10-1 Peach Bowl Championship Team but more importantly it recaps an important era of WVU football—the Jim Carlen and Bobby Bowden Era.More than a football book, the book stresses Carlen and Bowden's lifelong impact on the players and the relationships that continue. "A half-century later, players are still connected, a self-proclaimed 'Band of Brothers.’”

"Band of Brothers, then and now" also represents how college football used to be - when we played for our great state of West Virginia, the blue collar workers, the coal miners and for the love of the game and the love we had for our fellow players.
