Assume win at KU. Sitting at 2-4 or 4-6, I didn’t think we’d get another game. Sure it’s easy to call lower tier bowl games meaningless but if you have young kids…those are memories for fans. Same for players. Interesting scenarios:
NY6: ACC will have a team outside top10, ND and Cincy….so it’ll be interesting to see if 2/3 (Okie, OU, BU) get NY6.
- seems likely 2 get in NY6 (OU/Okie/BU)
- 3rd to Alamo
- 4th Orlando (IowaSt)
- 5th Texas (KSt)
- 6th Liberty (WVU)
- 7th Phoenix (TT)
- 8th Dallas (most likely not filled)
- would they really send us to Liberty two years in a row?
- would need a TCU win at IowaSt to open the door to a game against Dana in Dallas
Skylar Thompson had his annual injury today, seems to me I’d slot WVU into Jan4th Houston Texas bowl against SEC if B12 gets 2 teams in NY6. Otherwise Phoenix, against B10.
