Although this is my favorite tournament and the course I'd most like to play, these people are simply full of themselves. The cellphone thing has always annoyed me. I actually got away with inadvertently sneaking one in about 10 years ago. They allow "patrons" to bring a camera during the practice rounds (but not the tournament itself). But who uses an actual camera anymore? Everyone uses their cell phone camera. They should join every other PGA Tour event and allow cellphones-silent mode only and no talking. Violators removed. It isn't hard. Here's Golf Digest's unwritten rules-actually some are actually written.
