Stop being so Rascist. Most Black's in Arkansas were probably born there and not Africa. Maybe bringing some jobs back from overseas is really what they need.

Bring jobs home. Create incentives for business owners to keep them here. Let people rebuild their own communities. It's not the Governments job to do everything. However we agree tax money invested here is better than wasting on people that take advantage of us while their leaders get wealthy overseas.
The majority of Black's I served with hated to be called African Americans. They preferred just Americans being they were born here and were fighting for the US constitution. It's as bad as Italians or Irishmen born here caring about Ireland or Italy more. I sure as fvck don't.

Been hearing of a couple big projects coming and I'm excited to see the man power . I'm afraid wv is lacking in willing able bodies to man the work . Age , drugs and the people who left for a better life .
A little on the "green " ...seems all the big corporations who preach green are more than willing to go to wooded area's and build factories instead of build on previous sites and I believe that is a crime or should be .
The Upstate of South Carolina has alot of manufacturing. They also invested heavily into STEM and Vocational schools to fill those jobs.
I love the coal miners and I think trying to kill those jobs before alternatives are ready is stupid. However the State needs to look at the above and slowly work towards incentives to attract companies as well as home grown start ups. Education should be centered around that with the idea of making productive young people who want to stay home. Productive people with a future do less meth.
I guess I could be alot more detailed but you all are smart enough to get the big picture. At the end of the day the Democrats ran the State for a long time. Out of State people got rich off of the States resources.
It won't get fixed overnight. Unfortunately it will take a generation or two.

As a welder I understand the benefits of having a trade . The problem is not teaching trades its getting willing people to do the work and put in the time to learn. Unfortunately parents have not been teach work ethics very well ( baby boomers could be the worse . The job I'm on I have 3 young men 2 young women all under 24 . 1 lady and 1 guy have a clue what's expected out of them . Sadly the 1 lady is just not built to do the work but she has the heart and I respect her . Can't teach a lazy person or a entitled person .
Nobody has really been hungry in the United States for a long time. However you just have to mentor them. Teach them the skills. Some will have to get fired from their first job and learn the hard way. Some will never make it. Life isn't fair. No matter what the Socialist try to tell them.
