of something really good?
Tomorrow's bowl game is our jump-off into 2024. There's a good vibe. Juxtaposition that vs. the feeling of going into the 2019 season, after Will Grier and our top two wideouts sat out the bowl game. We had to watch Jack Allison flail away and try to beat Syracuse, to no avail. Dana had one foot out the door, and you just had a bad feeling about what was coming down the road...
But now we get to watch our starting QB and freshman All-American RB run behind a very good OL. UNC is ripe to be beaten. A bowl victory would cap a good season, and gives a bounce to the offseason. 2024 will begin, in earnest.
And, that leads all eyes to August 31 and Penn State's return trip to Morgantown. That will be one hell of a scene. We beat UNC, get to 9-4, with what we have returning...you're going to see a LSU 2011 type of environment for WVU/Penn State 2024.
We will be a handful. We can win that game. If and when we do, there's going to be some real juice in Morgantown.
