Only 0.016% of college players are drafted. On top of that only 30% of those make an NFL roster. Yet every school sells the NFL dream to their recruits. I get that and had that dream myself. I think the most realistic approach for a college recruit and their parents is to look at the history of the program getting players drafted but also a program like the 5th Quarter to be there for them to land a good job. The network of football alumni and other alumnus can really provide a distinct advantage for getting on with your life. BTW did you know Cam Ward was a zero-star prospect coming out of college?
