Time to shut the thread down...we have some folks here with no manners who want to be political. There is another board for that
BTW: I agree with you.
I'll say it again junior. If you are so progressive move to Cuba and enjoy the benefits of your socialist dream. I would think by your political comments that you: 1. never served this country in any capacity; 2. think that your junior college education is an achievement;, 3. live in your mom's basement; 4. describe yourself as a creative genius; 5. think the world ends at the borders of your neighborhood; and 6. or....aren't really as bright as you think you are. I think it is all of the above. But you have entertainment value like most progressives.
No sense in even trying to defend yourself. All you're going to get from Rootmaster and those of his ilk is a bunch of sixth grade "oh yeah, well, uh so's your mom". Cogent arguments are beyond their reach.I guess you have not heard about me then.
Spent 15 years in the USMC. Both of my sons are in the USMC. One as an officer and my youngest son is enlisted.
I am still involved in projecting American dominance around the world in the oil business.
Have worked in six different countries in the oil refinery business.
Actually, you’re the poor uneducated person comparing Trump to a democrat in Andrew Jackson. And it’s common knowledge it was the Democrats who didn’t want to give everyone the right to vote.Your education level is showing...
The issue with Trump is that he was a tool that was used for a conservative agenda.
Problem is that the conservative agenda includes the idea of continuing the belief of Pax Americana.
So in the end Trump will be left with nothing except the voters who are mainly uneducated poor whites.
There is a reason why some people didn't want to give the right to vote to everyone and this is a major reason why.
Not the first time as Andrew Jackson was one similar to Donald Trump but the US in 2018 is much different than in the 1830's.

Thank you for your and your sons service.I guess you have not heard about me then.

DickHello EER's...Tallmadeer...Cuyuhoga. Good morning you teeny piece of sunshine.
Thank you for your and your sons service.
My brother in law is retiring at the end of the year, USMC fully bird and Academy grad.
BTW DVZ we may not agree on a lot of things....but thank you for your service. I am a USAF vet, who was career. Highlights were being a squadron commander with 97th Bomb Wing and a gig later in the Pentagon. My best friend and former teammate died on patrol outside NaDang. So again thank you. We can be compatriots and still argue about things on the forum lol.
Both my sons are still involved and the oldest did multiple tours in Iraq including Fallujah so he should be appreciated.
Not to turn this back to the direction of politics but that is why Trump is such a danger.
He doesn't get it.
You can't have a president say "Why can't we be friends with Russia...I don't see anything wrong with being friends."
Did you ever participate in anything at wvu? Do you the pride of being a student there? Why are you such a cynical ass on here? You are just mean. So, it's Dick Chattanooga huh? Cool.
Back to sports. My issue with a lot of posters is that they think its cool to be middle of the pack because , after all, that's all WVU can ever expect. THe Mountaineers may never have the swagger of Texas or Oklahoma but can always strive to top them from time to time. GIving up before you play is just stupid. I am sure I will continue to have fodder for a thousand fights going forward. BTW: was stationed a while in Texas (and Arkansas).
I have heard this story and told by several people its trueWhen Terry Bowden was hired in 1993 to coach Auburn, he was a bright and audacious young (mid-30s) coach eager to make his legendary father proud and make a name for himself.
Everything changed within his first week. An assistant coach from the previous staff, whom Bowden was told he had to retain, walked into his office and placed a black ledger on his desk. It was a list of players who were being paid.
This is how we do it around here, Bowden was told.
Bowden told the assistant coach, “Pay off the players that were promised and never do it again.”
