get the axe but that's assuming he can beat GSU to open the season. If the Eagles clip his ass he's gets the pink slip much sooner! Either way, bon voyage! But not all bad...give him more time to hit the blackjack tables with your boys money! Hahahahahahahahah....damn, cousins you love to overpay!

It's our money... We can do with it as we please. On the other hand, you guys play with a state EBT card, and are accountable for your expenditures. I say we drug test every player, student, and administrative personnel. I'm for drug testing when on welfare.

You better hope not, because Doc would love to finally make it to six figures...

When are you replacing Doc? If Holgorsen is so bad, why is he 32 places higher than Doc in the coach rankings by Athlon? Hell, GSU coach is 23 spots higher? I guess you could pull someone from the stands and coach against Moo's schedule.

Makes one realize how gratuitous Moo's "ranking" was last year. 13-1 and barely make 23rd... Hahahahahahahahaha Hey, go 14-0 and may get in at 20. WVU goes 9-3 and is top 15. No wonder Doc wants out... However, no one wants him.

Athlon is the all knowing guide to coaching ability? Cousins , you are too easily impressed!

Who else ranks the coaches? You? You must be a liberal. If a poll goes against your ideology you slam the poll. Pretty tough to discredit #1

Re-read the opening line of the article, " ranking every college coach is an impossible task". At least the publishers understand the folly of the exercise even though the Cousins in Morgantown cannot grasp the concept!

It's relative.....duh... Even if it is "an impossible task" this is how they see it(impossible or not). Rating a coach will never be quantitative... It was the best analysis they could muster... If were the opposite, you'd be touting Athlon's merits. I can't argue with their rankings....they make some valid points in their assessments. Face it, Doc wasn't under consideration as head coach of WVU, and he pouted and left. Marshall was more than willing to scoop up anyone from The U (Doc, Bill Legg, JaJuan Seider, and anyone else they could find with a Don Nehlen pedigree)... WVU dominates the state of WV coaching staffs, and rightfully so.

Fritz was one of the top coaching hires from 2014, as he guided Georgia Southern to a 9-3 record and a perfect 8-0 mark in Sun Belt play. Adding to the impressive 2014 season was the fact it was Georgia Southern’s debut on the FBS level. Fritz’s success isn’t just limited to Georgia Southern either, as he went 40-14 in four years at Sam Houston State and 97-47 at Central Missouri.

-Not Bad Cooch. I like the Paul Johnson, Spread Triple Option system better than the Pistol Option run by Fritz. Still if he can go 9-3 , 10-2 each year in the regular season & win 80% of his bowls I could be swayed. You asked where I think GSU should have been ranked. OK 57th not 63rd & App ranked 63rd,

Paul Johnson is amazing in my mind. The places he's won and the way he does it...very impressive.
