You too...someday I hope to bring you out of the darkness that is WVU!

Starting 11 days off this afternoon. Beer count indicated 84 beers in the fridge, so have to pace myself and limit to 7-8 per day. That, or buy more when inventory is depleted.

buffalo trace is flowing
Can't drink the hard stuff, or I would probably be dangerous to society. Ironically, I just got a shipment of beer sent to me from a friend in our Indianapolis facility, packed full of 30 random beers, mostly IPAs. Now I have to pace myself for 9-10 per day.

My predictions:

Army 81, WVU 0
Buffalo 35, Herd 10
Ohio State 38, Clemson 35

And there's a Michigan road basketball game this Friday as well. Nebraska 74, Michigan 62

B1G has too many tough teams, so be lucky to win half of conference games, especially on the road. Even Northwestern looked like a final four team against Michigan State on Sunday night.

Huggins is lucky he doesn't play Rutgers.

Nebraska ain't beatin' your team by 12...no way, no how. Rutgers' basketball squad has finally reached the point of being really good, and will likely beat the Buckeyes. Ron Harper, Jr. will be a problem. Give me some beer advice. I like lager the best, but am willing to try any beer.

Same here from the Buzzard nest. Merry Christmas to all friends and foes that visit this board - including tOSUdogpeckergnat.

Nebraska will be tough to beat in Lincoln. I expect a double digit loss, as many players don't want to play this game (on Christmas), and this will be Michigan's first road game of the year.

As for beer advice, I'm unable to provide that, as each person has individual taste bud desires. I prefer the strong hoppy taste, mainly those with hints of a citrusy concoction. Thus, preference of IPAs. For IPA drinkers with a taste preference, you must know your hops, which is important when buying beers you're unfamiliar with. (Based on the hop ingredients listed, I can pretty much know what the beer is going to taste like). I also brew my own from time to time, and have to purchase the hops. Cascade hops tend to provide a grapefruit taste, while hops like Amariillo & Summit give it more of a tangerine taste. Citra is another tropical tasting hop.

Best thing to do is go to a brewpub, and purchase flights, starting with lighter beers, and working your way through the flight to IPAs and Porters/Stouts.

Sounds like you're more of a traditional beer drinker with the lager, which is what Miller, Budweiser, and others are. I don't drink them anymore, unless it's the only choice at a golf course, or what's on tap at a party, but even then, I'll tend to bring my own. You should start with lighter ales, light a Blonde Ale, which is prevalent at many breweries. My wife prefers the Coffee Blonde Ales, and those are good if you're into coffee.

But, being a redneck, I'll usually drink whatever happens to be on hand.

I have serious question for you: What exactly does "backed into the playoffs" mean to you? Of all of the whining that I have heard and read about Ohio State's invitation to the CFP, your assertion makes the least sense. A team that goes undefeated and wins its conference championship game doesn't "back into" anything. Only Notre Shame arguably "backed into" the CFP.

Foster's Lager has always been my favorite beer, but because I can find it only in oil cans at Kroger or on tap at Outback, it must be incredibly unpopular. I usually drink Stella Artois on tap when I'm at a restaurant, but have found some of the fruity beers to be tasty. Applebee's has a pineapple craft beer on tap that is delicious. I haven't had either in years, but I liked Shock Top's raspberry variety, and thought that the Sam Adams raspberry (or was it cherry?) beer tasted like cough syrup. I like Magic Hat No. 9, too. Yeungling's doesn't taste like a traditional lager to me, and I don't like it at all. The blonde ales that I have tried have been good, and I might try a coffee blonde ale to expand my horizons.

they didn't play enough games and your conference changed the rules to let them in...plain and simple

Merry Christmas to everyone!

"The conference" made up the stupid rule in October 2020, dumb a$$. Only you would think that a conference run mostly by libtards should be allowed to make up arbitrary rules in October 2020, but not be allowed to change those arbitrary rules in December 2020. Yeah, it would be real "fair" to keep the only undefeated B1G school out of the B1G Championship Game because Michigan allegedly couldn't field a roster sufficient to play Ohio State a couple of weeks ago. What you fail to understand is that Ohio State could have forfeited the Michigan game, and would have been the B1G East Champion, anyway, under the same libtards' rules. You're so blinded by jealousy that you're making no sense at all these days, Pops. Chug some egg nog, and just maybe, you'll begin to make some sense.

libtards is right...already into the buffalo trace flavored egg nog......and btw...even though you are delusional and misguided I consider you a friend

Ha ha, I like you, too, Sled, but man, you have some serious Scarlet & Gray hate...not that I have any room to talk... Have you seen our favorite liberal on the off-topic board lately? I haven't been over there much in the last week or two, but didn't see any of his posts the few times that I was on there. It seems as if the walls were closing in on his true identity, and he ran for the hills, but I could be wrong about that. MichiganHerd probably has his finger on the pulse of the situation.
