Got this from a reliable source in NC: Huss was flown to Omaha by Creighton as soon as HPU lost. The AD and McDermott sat him down and said they wanted him to take over in 2-3 years when McDermott is ready to retire or become AD. They told Huss to sit tight at HPU and keep making the tournament until then. Huss apparently loves Creighton and thinks he can have run there like Jay Wright did at Villanova. Huss then shut down all other schools that were interested (New Mexico, UNLV et al).
